What makes you think RDR2 would be any different? R* understands VR doesn’t have a large enough market to make the investment worthwhile.Īnd I'd say RDR2 has a better chance than GTAV of getting VR due to it being made later in the game, even if it is only for a lousy few levels like Ace combat 7. Well, this thread is basically griping about how unlikely an official Gundam VR is.Īs for a future example, it's come to my ears that the minds behind black desert online are getting into making a VR mmo based off of it. I just find it unlikely that gundam would make that jump, but I’m still on board with a simulator regardless. Not that I want to derail this thread, but what future AAA games are supporting VR? I can’t even think of a single one. You can see plenty of videos of how bad combat is in Skyrim VR. However, it was critically panned by the media for being a half-baked attempt at VR not built for it, having horribly inferior visuals compared to the non-VR version, terrible locamotion, and gameplay with the Move remotes being a joke. Skyrim VR sold decently well, comparitively speaking, on the PSVR. Other than Ace Combat 7 getting an optional VR experience, what other AAA games are getting VR? The only ones I know of are DOOM VFR and Fallout VR, which Bethesda both publishes. What makes you think RDR2 would be any different? Surely other companies saw how many it sold. I think if that's really the case, we wouldn't have seen any subsequent AAA VR games after Skyrim VR. But no, they're missing out on a worthwhile market. Bandai-Namco can easily fund it, and everything. It's funny how indie developers are doing more than AAA game companies though. I've been posting on any active VR article postings across the web mentioning Bandai-Namco's failure to make note of Gundam VR that I'm hoping they see that wanting to add make a proper Gundam game for the PSVR and hopefully the PC (Steam) market. It doesn't have any VR options that it's depressing. I won't link it because someone would flag me for advertising so seek it out via Google search that you should search up 'Madnug VR'.īandai is doing a survey that I put 'Gundam - Simulation' hoping it would clue them in that we need a Gundam VR game. If the guy can get more support he'll be able to pump out more content.
